Travel agencies and hotels of Uzbekistan will pay no more taxes for the tourist service

On January 14 the statement “On Approval of the travel fees charged to travel agencies and hotels for tourist service” will be cancelled by the new statement of the Ministry of Finance and “Uzbektourism” National Company.

Earlier so-called tourism tax was charged from travel agencies for every tourist, travelling outside the Uzbekistan, and also from all the hotels for every tourist regardless of the period of stay. Travel agencies also used to pay for every non-citizen of Uzbekistan coming to its territory.
