The IV International Theatre Festival Theatre.UZ 2013

Theatre.UZ is an annual event devoted to promoting dramatic art in Uzbekistan.

In 2013 in the first day of the festival was demonstrated a joint project of Uzbekistan and Israel - a play called «Happy End» by Israeli playwright Ido Netanyahu. The author himself attended the premiere and took an appreciative applause from the audience along with head of the Youth Theatre Nabi Abdurakhmanov.

The festival focuses on the creative process and the process of art object creating and its development. This format of immersing the audience in the process of creating a play as an art object will give them an opportunity to understand the efforts specialists make and spiritual development.

This will be aided by a series of workshops and a staging of “work-in-progress” plays as well as an exhibition of stage designers.
