The reconstruction of Zaamin regional museum finally ended

Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan press-service let to know that finally completed big reconstruction of Zaamin museum in Jizzakh. It is stated by R. Mansurov, that building of the museum now looks much better, really improved. All of the departments of this museum were renewed, gained new different exhibits (among them are monuments of Empire of Karahanids, items from mountainous caves).

It is interesting that actual non-reconstructed first variant of the building was completed during the end of 19th century, but in had opened only in 1996, presenting ethnography, archeology and independence departments. Here exhibited over thirty thousand items.

Now, after reconstruction, Zaamin museum became one of the best museums in the whole region of Jizzakh. Ministry of Culture and Sport promises to pay more attention to the regional museums.
