In Tashkent was opened a new monument

In the National Park of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi was inaugurated the monument of national writer of Uzbekistan Saeed Ahmad (1920-2007) and poet Saida Zunnunova (1926-1977).

His numerous novels and humorous stories written with high artistic skill became a major contribution to the development of national literature. Dramatic performances of his works held with great success in the scenes of many domestic and foreign theaters.

His wife Saida Zununnova is also the author of many books of poetry.
