Prospects of Khorezm region tourism were discussed during the video conference in Urgench

During the conference there was an active discussion of the the Draft Programme development of tourism of the Khorezm region for the period 2013-2013 years, which the government plans to approve in the near future. The conference and round table in Urgench were organized by "Uzbektourism" national company, House of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Khorezm region hakimiat.

The round table was attended by the heads and experts, a number of ministries and departments and local authorities, a wide range of businesses, representatives of tourist industry, as well as local and foreign investors. They exchanged their views, asked and received answers to a number of questions on the development of tourism and hospitality industry in all regions of Uzbekistan.

Such an interactive format of the meeting became first successful experience of public discussion the most important areas for tourism development in perspective tourist regions of Uzbekistan.
