Orient Silk Road Express

On 16th of September was launched the first tourist train Orient Silk Road Express. The first trip was made on the route Tashkent-Kamashi-Kitab-Urgench-Bukhara-Samarkand-Tashkent.

This tourist train is composed of 6 main rail cars and one backup, also 2 luxury car (each for 8 persons), 1 East Superior Shower (NE) (16 seats), two restaurant cars, one car for staff accommodation.

All the cars are decorated in a traditional style with prints in the style of the Uzbek thumbnails on the windows with oriental patterns. In addition, each car has a shower, toilet, TV, wardrobes for clothes and other necessities.
