ADB loan for improving the infrastructure

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has provided a loan of $ 220 million to Government of Uzbekistan for the construction of the national highway in Namangan region.

The funds will be also used for the reconstruction of road sections "Guzar-Bukhara-Nukus-Beynau" (A-380) and "Tashkent-Andijan" (A-373) with a total length of 450 km.

It will give an opportunity to strengthen the infrastructure of the Fergana Valley, and improve communication with other regions of Uzbekistan.
