In September, the Government of Uzbekistan adopted a decision to open the airports of Andijan, Namangan, Ferghana, Termez and Karshi for international flights.
The works are underway in order toprovide related facilities, equipment for the effective implementation of border, customs, sanitary and veterinary controls and visa security at checkpoints in designated airports.
In this moment the status of international airports has only Tashkent, Navoy and Samarkand airports.
