The ancient castle becomes a museum

The government of Uzbekistan has declared the reconstruction of the castle Sulaymon-Kala in Khorezm region, which history reaches three thousand years.

The extensive work of archeologists has demonstrated unique results such as erected bazaar, home crafters, tea house, and amphitheater for 600 people. Near the fortress there is a lake with picturesque landscapes.

The museum complex will include the fortress, mosque and such historic places as Chingiztepa, Uch uchok that exhibits the national traditions and customs of our heritage, the life and works of the great scientists.

Earlier it was reported that in March the head of Uzbekistan signed a decree that approved the program of tourism development in the Khorezm region for 2013-2015, under which will be implemented 118 projects with a total value of $ 86.76 million.
