The volume of export of travel services in Uzbekistan in the first quarter of 2013 exceeded $ 155.5 million. In May 2013 passed opening the renovated memorial complex of Bahauddin Naqshbandi in Bukhara region, and also reconstructed Bibi Orif mausoleum. Uzbekistan and Korea expressed their intension to cooperate in the sphere of tourism by signing the mutual agreement on September 20, 2012 in Seoul. This agreement was approved by Islam Karimov on January 3, 2013.
